Kemira Water Solutions – Mojave, CA Plant Expansion

Kemira is a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water-intensive industries delivering tailored products and services to improve product quality, processes, and resource efficiency to a diverse range of customers. The Mojave, CA plant focuses on providing water treatment chemicals for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants.

Kemira offers a range of innovative solutions to optimize all stages of the water treatment process, reduce expenses for energy, labor and chemicals, while safely achieving targeted water quality.

IPC is contracted with Kemira to provide Project Management and Construction Management services for an extensive plant upgrade at the Mojave, CA plant site. We are assisting with managing completion of engineering services and the contracting for construction services. Required construction trades include all the traditional services needed for a near Greenfield site upgrade. Groundbreaking is only days away. Permitting is close to completion.

Our site team is actively involved in plant wide Pre-Construction Services, assisting in organizing the site for an efficient and organized rebuild effort, coordinating the receipt of equipment and materials, developing site safety procedures and protocols, management of bid walks and contract follow-up, and overall site construction management.

The site is remote from major municipalities, and has climate and logistic related challenges, thus modularization and off-site prep work is heavy on our minds.
