JR Simplot - Helm Plant Upgrades
IPC managed a $28 million upgrade project in northern California that produces high-quality fertilizer for agriculture. We performed all procurement, oversight of engineering, and construction management activities while ensuring continuous operations in this existing plant.
TOTAL INSTALLED COST
Project management services were provided for construction of an ammonia unloading, storage and distribution facility at a fertilizer plant in Helm, CA. All piping, electrical and instrumentation systems tie into the existing plant. The project included a new MCC building and switchgear for the current and future project expansions. In combination with the ammonia project, we oversaw all elements of a replacement of an existing nitric acid absorber tower with a new 180 ft stainless steel process column weighing over 65 tons.
